Emotional cycle
The emotional cycle lasts 28 days and is the second of the three biorhythm cycles. The classic method links it to mood, sensitivity and patience, that is, to how you react to people and situations. Fourteen days in the high phase, fourteen in the low one, with a critical day at every change of phase.
This cycle too goes back to Fliess, who called it the female cycle; Hermann Swoboda observed its periodicity in 1904 while studying how certain moods returned in his patients. Twenty-eight days are exactly four weeks: its critical days always fall on the same day of the week.
It is the cycle that weighs most in the couple comparison, because it is the one that governs patience with each other and the way you react. Two people with their emotional cycles in different phases live the same day in two different ways.
For someone born on 15 June 1990, on 2 September 2026 the emotional cycle is on day 13 of 28: still in the high phase, one day away from crossing into the low one.
